Do You Need a Spend Analysis Engine?
If you are not sure whether or not you need the features offered by a spend analysis engine, then here is a simpler question for you to answer. Is your company losing money? If so, can you pinpoint the reason why? If you answer “no” to the second question, then I will have to answer “yes” to your first one. You definitely need a spend analysis engine and pronto at that.
Just be reminded, however, that spend analysis machines are not like magic 8-balls or crystal balls that can predict the future or even the past. At the most, they can show you what is taking place in the present and what appears to have taken place in the past. They cannot however help in verifying whether the figures presented by the engine are real because you were the ones to present them. They can show you, however, if the figures tally or not.
